Sarà «un mostro di proporzioni epiche», ha twittato la First Daughter. «Probabilmente andrò nelle zone colpite dall'uragano Michael domenica o lunedì» ha affermato Trump durante un incontro alla Casa Bianca. Il presidente ha detto di non voler intralciare i soccorsi ed è per questo motivo che non si recherà subito in Florida.
Intanto Michael fa paura anche dallo spazio: la Nasa ha puntato le telecamere della Stazione Spaziale Internazionale sul Golfo del Messico e riprenderà le immagini del fenomeno quando toccherà la terraferma.
